Phalaenopsis orchids are among the most popular houseplants, prized for their elegant arching sprays of flowers that can last 6 to 8 weeks in bloom. Available in a variety of colors including white, purple, pink, and specialty tinted varieties, these orchids make a beautiful home accent or thoughtful gift.

These orchids thrive in bright, indirect light and should be kept away from direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. Water once a week or when the potting mix feels dry about an inch down, using approximately 3 oz of water per watering. Avoid overwatering, as orchids are epiphytic plants that prefer good drainage over soggy roots. The transparent grow pot allows you to monitor root moisture — green roots indicate adequate hydration, while grey or shriveled roots signal it is time to water.
