Griffo Distillery's Stout Barreled Whiskey is a craft American whiskey produced in Petaluma, California in Sonoma County. Inspired by the craft beer world, it blurs the lines between bourbon and stout, using a mash bill of 55% corn, 35% rye, and 10% roasted barley. The corn delivers classic bourbon nutty sweetness while the roasted malts craft a beloved coffee and chocolate stout character.

This whiskey is aged in new American oak barrels and then finished in used stout beer barrels from Lagunitas Brewery. It is bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV) in a 750ml bottle. The result is a rich, almost decadent pour with notes of fresh fig, caramel, coffee bean, and chocolate, with a long, evolving finish that ends in espresso and chocolate with a hint of tobacco.

Griffo's Stout Barreled Whiskey has earned Best of Class at the Sunset International Spirits Competition 2025 and Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2024.
