Jeff Runquist's 1448 Proprietary Red Blend is a signature California red wine named after the 1,448-foot elevation of the family winery nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Amador County. Produced since 2010, this expressive blend draws from the finest vineyards in the Sierra Foothills appellation and showcases the region's ability to produce complex, fruit-forward red wines.

The wine displays a deep, rich color with youthful, bright hues and a hint of magenta at the edge. On the nose, aromas of cool fruits lead with black raspberry and blueberry, followed by an inviting bouquet of vanilla, baking spice, violets, and lavender. On the palate, the wine is succulent and juicy, offering generous ripe fruit flavors framed by a toasted oak creaminess. Soft, well-integrated tannins add richness and texture, while a well-defined acidity provides balance and length on the finish.
