The Ginseng Ficus Bonsai (Ficus retusa) is a striking indoor tropical plant prized for its distinctive bulging, ginseng-like exposed roots and small, shiny dark green leaves. Sold in an 8-inch container with an approximate volume of 0.73 gallons (2.76 liters), the plant typically stands 12–16 inches tall including its pot, making it an ideal accent for desks, shelves, offices, and living spaces.

One of the most versatile and forgiving bonsai varieties available, the Ginseng Ficus thrives in low, medium, or bright indoor light and has moderate watering needs.
