Safai Coffee's Organic Indonesian Blend is a 2-pound bag of 100% Specialty Grade Arabica whole bean coffee, roasted and packaged by Safai Enterprises Inc. in Louisville, Kentucky. The coffee is USDA Certified Organic by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and sourced through direct trade relationships built by Master Roaster Mike Safai, who visits coffee farms around the world to ensure quality from seed to cup.

Indonesian coffees are prized for their full body, low acidity, and rich earthy depth. This blend draws from the fertile volcanic soils and lush growing regions of the Indonesian archipelago — including origins such as Sumatra, Java, and Sulawesi — to deliver a smooth, bold cup with woody and earthy undertones and a lingering, bittersweet finish. The dark roast yields a heavy mouthfeel reminiscent of a stout, yet brews surprisingly clean and smooth.

Safai Coffee recommends grinding beans just before brewing, using a coarse grind for a press pot or a medium grind for a drip or pour-over. Start with 2 tablespoons of freshly ground coffee per 6 ounces of fresh water and adjust to taste. Store the coffee at room temperature in an airtight container to preserve freshness.
