Idle Hands is a bold red blend from The Underground Wine Project, crafted by winemakers Trey Busch and Mark McNeilly from grapes grown in Washington State's prestigious Red Mountain AVA. The "DB" designation references the winemaking duo behind this label. Red Mountain is one of Washington's smallest and most acclaimed wine appellations, known for producing intensely flavored, structured red wines due to its warm days, cool nights, and rocky, well-drained soils.

The blend is anchored by Syrah, complemented by a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from Red Mountain vineyards including Red Heaven Vineyard. The wine is aged approximately 16 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels, lending notes of bing cherry, cola, raspberry, vanilla, and the characteristic peppery spice of Washington Syrah. It is full-bodied and lush in texture with a long, structured finish. The wine consistently earns scores in the upper 80s to low 90s from critics and pairs well with beef, lamb, and venison.
