A.D. Laws Four Grain Straight Bourbon is a craft Colorado whiskey produced at Laws Whiskey House in Denver. The bourbon's story begins with grains sourced from two Colorado family farms, where high-quality corn and heirloom varietals of wheat, barley, and rye are grown. A labor-intensive stepped cooking process — taking approximately 6.5 hours — brings each grain's individual character to life, followed by open-air sour mash fermentation that adds soulful complexity.

Aged 3+ years in new 53-gallon charred oak barrels at high altitude, this four-grain bourbon unfolds with a mash bill of 60% corn, 20% heirloom wheat, 10% heirloom rye, and 10% heirloom malted barley. It is bottled at 95 proof (47.5% ABV). On the nose, orange blossoms complement notes of black tea, honey, and dusty pepper. The palate delivers Pekoe tea, orange peel, cinnamon, and vanilla custard, with hints of sweet tobacco and spice leading to a rich, dry finish.
