High West Bourye is a premium American whiskey crafted by High West Distillery, located at the base of the Quitting Time Ski Run in Park City, Utah — the first legal distillery in Utah since Prohibition and the only ski-in gastro-distillery in the world. The name "Bourye" is a portmanteau of bourbon and rye, reflecting the whiskey's composition as a sophisticated blend of both styles.

This expression is blended from multiple aged straight whiskeys: straight rye whiskeys from MGP (95% rye, 5% barley malt) and from High West Distillery itself (80% rye, 20% malted rye), along with straight bourbon whiskeys from MGP (75% corn, 21% rye, 4% barley malt; and 60% corn, 36% rye, 4% malted barley) and a Kentucky distillery (78% corn, 10% rye, 12% malted barley). The bourbon components are aged a minimum of nine years, while the rye whiskeys have matured for ten to sixteen years. The whiskey is bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) and 750ml.

On the nose, Bourye offers ripe banana, red fruits, sweet vanilla-caramel, and dusty oak. The palate delivers honeycomb, walnut praline, brûléed banana, brown butter, ground ginger spice, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, and hickory wood chips. The finish is medium in length with lingering notes of Saigon cinnamon, English toffee, floral vanilla, and barrel char. High West recommends enjoying Bourye neat or with a small splash of water; serving over ice is not recommended, as it does not take to water dilution well.
