Bella Union Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium Napa Valley red wine crafted by Bella Union, a winery founded in 2012 by the partners of Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel. Rooted in the storied Rutherford district, Bella Union specializes in the art of blending, sourcing fruit from a 25-acre estate vineyard along Bella Oaks Lane where vines range between 20 and 30 years old. The Rutherford Bench location delivers cool evenings and warm afternoons ideal for even, full ripening of the grapes.

Each vintage is a Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend that may include Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot, with recent vintages typically composing around 94% Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaker Brooke Price crafts the wine to highlight Rutherford's characteristic red fruit and cocoa powder notes. The wine opens with aromas of black cherry, cassis, and cedar, followed by rich flavors of ripe plum, dark chocolate, and hints of vanilla balanced by polished, well-integrated tannins and a long, satisfying finish.
