Fabre en Provence Côtes de Provence Rosé is a vibrant, dry French rosé wine from one of the most celebrated wine regions in the world. This wine pours a pale pink color and showcases the classic Provence style with fresh floral notes, strawberry, raspberry, and peach aromas. The calcareous soils of the region lend minerality to the wine's profile.
Made from a blend of traditional Provençal grapes including Syrah, Cinsault, and Grenache, this rosé offers a tightly focused red berry and citrus fruit character on the nose with a floral nuance that builds as the wine opens. On the palate, it delivers juicy and focused flavors of strawberry, bitter cherry, and blood orange with a sweetening touch of honey. The mouthfeel is nicely delineated with vibrant fruit flavors and a mineraly, saline, dry finish.
This wine has earned critical acclaim, receiving 90 Points from Vinous who noted it "finishes smooth and long and with some weight, with the floral note repeating." At 12.5% alcohol, it is perfectly balanced for warm weather enjoyment. The Fabre label was first created in 1920 by Henri Fabre Sr., and the family history in Provence stretches back 17 generations, making the winery one of the largest producers in the South of France and among the first to operate its own bottling line.
Pairs beautifully with grilled salmon, roasted poultry, sausages, antipasto, grilled vegetables, mixed bean salad, or tuna niçoise. Best served well chilled for maximum refreshment.
