The Lathem Time 1600E is a wireless atomic time recorder designed for employee time tracking, project time costing, and date/time stamping documents in office and business environments. It wirelessly synchronizes with the NIST US Atomic Clock for precise, automatic timekeeping — no manual time-setting required.

Key features include Tru-Align Technology for perfectly aligned punches on compatible E16 time cards (sold separately), a perpetual calendar that tracks year, month, date, and day of the week through the year 2099, and automatic daylight saving time adjustment. Whisper-Print Technology ensures extremely quiet operation, and the unit supports multilingual printing in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. A 5-year memory backup battery maintains time and settings during power outages.
