The Bonanza is a true genetic dwarf peach tree perfect for small spaces, patios, and container growing. This compact variety grows 4 to 6 feet tall and wide, making it ideal for home gardens with limited space. In early spring, the tree produces profuse, fragrant hot pink flowers that create a stunning ornamental display.

The Bonanza produces medium-to-large sized peaches with yellow freestone flesh and yellow skin blushed with red. The fruit ripens in early to mid-summer and is so prolific it will need thinning for optimal size. The peaches have a very fuzzy skin and offer sweet, juicy flesh that's excellent for fresh eating.

This miniature peach tree is hardy to USDA Zone 5 (-20 to -10°F) and requires only 250 chill hours, making it suitable for warm to hot summer climates as well as short summer areas where ripening is guaranteed. The tree is self-fertile, requiring no pollinator, and features large, hardy leaves. It's grafted at about 18 inches above the soil line to provide a straight trunk. The Bonanza can be easily covered to protect from peach leaf curl and is suitable for espalier training with proper support.
