Infants' Tylenol Dye Free Oral Suspension provides temporary relief from minor aches and pains due to the common cold, flu, sore throat, headache, and toothache, while also reducing fever in infants and young children. This pack contains two 2-ounce bottles for a total of 4 fluid ounces. Each 5 mL dose contains 160 mg of acetaminophen, a trusted pain reliever and fever reducer that starts working in as little as 15 minutes.
The dye-free cherry flavored formula is gentle on the tummy and free from ibuprofen, aspirin, alcohol, parabens, and high fructose corn syrup. Tylenol is the #1 pediatrician-recommended brand for infant pain and fever relief. The product includes a SimpleMeasure dosing syringe designed specifically for accurate administration to infants and children ages 2-3 years.
Active ingredient: Acetaminophen 160 mg per 5 mL. Inactive ingredients include anhydrous citric acid, flavors, glycerin, microcrystalline cellulose and carboxymethylcellulose sodium, potassium sorbate, purified water, sorbitol solution, sucralose, sucrose, and xanthan gum. Dosing: For children 24-35 lbs (2-3 years), administer 5 mL every 4 hours while symptoms last, not to exceed 5 doses in 24 hours. For children under 24 lbs or under 2 years, consult a doctor before use.
Warnings: Contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if child takes more than 5 doses in 24 hours or when combined with other drugs containing acetaminophen. Acetaminophen may cause severe skin reactions. Stop use and seek medical help if skin reddening, blisters, or rash occurs. If sore throat is severe or persists for more than 2 days, or if accompanied by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly. Do not use if child is allergic to acetaminophen or any inactive ingredients. Ask a doctor before use if child has liver disease or is taking blood thinning drug warfarin. Stop use and ask a doctor if pain gets worse or lasts more than 5 days, fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days, new symptoms occur, or redness or swelling is present. In case of overdose, contact Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222 immediately.
