Podere Brizio Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a prestigious Italian red wine produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in vineyards situated in the southwest of Montalcino, Tuscany, at 330–350 meters above sea level facing the sea and the Maremma. The vineyards rest on marine-origin sandy silty soils layered over marl and limestone, yielding wines with remarkable mineral character and well-structured depth. This case contains 12 bottles, each 750ML.

Following two weeks of natural spontaneous fermentation, the wine ages for 38 months in large French oak barrels, then rests a minimum of 6 months in bottle before release. The result is a wine of deep ruby red color with garnet highlights, and a complex nose featuring ripe cherry, plum, tobacco, vanilla, black pepper, and licorice. On the palate it is full-bodied with fine, silky tannins, lively acidity, and an elegant, persistent finish with a characteristic hint of black pepper.

Brunello di Montalcino carries DOCG status, Italy's highest wine classification, and must adhere to strict production regulations in the Montalcino zone of Tuscany.
