Vicks VapoRub is a medicated topical ointment that provides temporary relief from cough due to common cold and minor aches and pains. This package contains two 3.53-ounce jars (7.06 total ounces) of the classic mentholated formula. The product combines three active ingredients: camphor (4.8%), eucalyptus oil (1.2%), and menthol (2.63%) to work as both a cough suppressant and topical analgesic.

When applied to the chest and throat, the medicated vapors provide soothing relief from cough symptoms. For muscle and joint discomfort, apply directly to affected areas for temporary pain relief. The ointment is formulated with special petrolatum and aromatic oils including cedarleaf oil, nutmeg oil, thymol, and turpentine oil that create the distinctive Vicks scent.

For use in adults and children 2 years and older. Apply a thick layer to chest, throat, or sore muscles up to three times per 24 hours. Keep clothing loose around treated areas to allow vapors to reach nose and mouth. External use only; do not use by mouth, in nostrils, on wounds or damaged skin, or with tight bandages. Do not heat or microwave. Not for use in children under 2 years of age.
