La Vieille Ferme Côtes du Ventoux Rouge is a classic, value-driven French red wine from the Ventoux appellation in the southern Rhône Valley. Produced by Famille Perrin—the renowned winemakers behind the legendary Château Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape—La Vieille Ferme has been crafting authentic, honest, and consistently excellent wines since 1970, earning worldwide recognition as one of the best value red wines available.
This wine is a blend of classic southern Rhône varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and Cinsault. It pours a deep garnet color with bright reflections. On the nose, it opens with notes of violets, spices, and stewed red fruit including blackberries and Morello cherries with a hint of garrigue. On the palate it delivers juicy dark fruit, cocoa, and pepper with soft tannins, lively acidity, and a long, savory finish. At 13.5% ABV, the wine is balanced and approachable without heaviness.
The 1.5L magnum format is ideal for entertaining and gatherings. It pairs well with pizza, burgers, charcuterie, and weeknight pastas. Serve slightly cool to show its attractive lift and definition. This item is sold as a case of six 1.5L bottles.
