Kirkland Signature Water Filter Cartridges are designed to fit most Brita pitchers and dispensers, providing an affordable alternative to brand-name filters. These BPA-free filters are tested and certified by WQA against NSF/ANSI standards 42, 53, and 401 for the reduction of multiple contaminants including chloramine, chlorine (taste and odor), mercury, copper, cadmium, benzene, zinc, 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene, trimethoprim, meprobamate, and estrone.

Each filter cartridge provides up to 40 gallons (151 liters) of filtered water, lasting approximately 2 months for an average family. One filter can replace up to 300 standard 16.9-ounce water bottles, making it an environmentally friendly and cost-effective choice. The package includes 10 filter cartridges made in the UK with BPA-free plastic barrels and lids.

For optimal performance, filters should be prepped before first use by submerging in cold water, shaking gently to remove air bubbles, then running two full pitcher cycles and discarding the water before regular use.
