The Seiko Prospex SSC675 is a solar-powered diver's chronograph from the "Save the Ocean" special edition collection, developed in partnership with marine conservationist Fabien Cousteau. A portion of proceeds supports ocean conservation efforts.
The watch features a 43.5mm stainless steel case with a satin-brushed top and polished sides, measuring 13.8mm thick. The screw-down crown at 3 o'clock is protected by crown guards with PVD coating, and both chronograph pushers are also screw-down for full water safety. Water resistance is rated to 200 meters (660 feet), making it suitable for recreational diving. A unidirectional rotating bezel assists in tracking dive time.
The striking striped blue dial alternates between dark and light blue tones, fitted with three chronograph subdials measuring 60 seconds, 60 minutes, and 24 hours. Hour markers and hands are coated with Lumibrite luminous material for visibility in low light. A date window sits at the 4-5 o'clock position. The crystal is Hardlex mineral glass.
Powering the watch is the Seiko V175 solar quartz caliber, accurate to ±15 seconds per month with a power reserve of approximately 6 months when fully charged. The three-link stainless steel bracelet has polished center links and brushed outer links, secured by a three-fold deployment clasp with a diver's extension.
