Blackened by Metallica American Whiskey is a premium blended American whiskey crafted through a collaboration between legendary heavy metal band Metallica and Master Distiller & Blender Rob Dietrich. This Kentucky expression is bottled at 750ML and produced by Sweet Amber Distilling Co.

The whiskey is a blend of straight North American bourbons and rye whiskeys, finished in brandy casks to impart soft fruit undertones that complement the bourbon's natural sweetness and the rye's characteristic spice. What sets Blackened apart is its proprietary BLACK NOISE sonic finishing process, in which low-frequency sound waves cause the whiskey to reverberate against the oak staves, intensifying wood interaction and releasing compounds like toasted coconut, vanilla, butterscotch, and caramel for a uniquely deep and complex flavor profile.

Bottled at 45% ABV, Blackened has earned multiple prestigious awards including Platinum at the 2023 Ascot Awards and Double Gold medals from the SIP Awards and San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
