La Moussière is the flagship white Sancerre from Alphonse Mellot, one of the most celebrated estates in the Loire Valley and a family domaine with roots stretching back to the 17th century. Produced from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on the flinty, chalky soils surrounding the hilltop town of Sancerre, this wine exemplifies the appellation's hallmark style: vibrant, mineral-driven, and elegant.

Expect bright aromas of citrus zest, white grapefruit, and fresh-cut grass with characteristic gunflint minerality. On the palate, La Moussière is crisp and focused, with lively acidity, a clean finish, and subtle notes of gooseberry and white flower.
