Old Forester 1910 Old Fine Whisky is a unique Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey presented at 93 proof. This expression is the fourth and final in the Whiskey Row Series, inspired by a historic 1910 fire at the Old Forester distillery that halted the bottling line. Mature whisky ready to be bottled was instead stored in a secondary barrel, creating a remarkably smooth and sweet bourbon that became an entirely new expression.

This bourbon undergoes a distinctive double-barreling process, where it enters the second barrel at a low 100 proof, allowing more of the sweet wood sugars to dissolve into the whiskey. Made from a traditional bourbon mashbill of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley, it delivers exceptional character with a smooth, well-rounded flavor profile.

The aroma features interlaced layers of buttercream, sticky toffee, baked apple, and a hint of roasted coffee beans. On the palate, expect a smooth mingling of sweet oatmeal raisin cookie leading into warm cinnamon spice, nutmeg, and mocha. The finish is viscous yet slightly dry with peripheral spice and smoky charred oak. This bourbon has earned recognition including a Gold Medal at the San Francisco Spirits Competition 2023 and a 93 rating from The Ultimate Spirits Challenge.
