Jax Vineyards Y3 "Taureau" is a Bordeaux-style red blend from Napa Valley, crafted by consulting winemaker Kirk Venge from hand-harvested fruit sourced in northern Calistoga. The name "Taureau" honors the Jackson family's legendary bull, known for his feisty and vibrant personality, reflecting the wine's bold yet approachable character. The blend comprises 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc, aged in 35% new French oak, with 14.7% ABV.

Enticing vanilla bean and cappuccino aromas lead to a velvety texture supporting dark chocolate, baked cherries, cinnamon, and nutmeg flavors. Dense purple fruit, blackberry, black cherry, and red raspberry notes are framed by lavish fine-grained tannins with gorgeous blueberry and spiced coffee accents. Rated 93 points by James Suckling.
