Redbreast Lustau Edition is a distinguished Irish single pot still whiskey, born from a collaboration between the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland, and the prestigious Bodegas Lustau of Jerez, Spain. This limited edition expression represents the ultimate sherried style of Redbreast, crafted from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills.

The whiskey is initially matured for 9 to 12 years in a combination of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, then finished for an additional year in first-fill sherry butts hand-selected from Bodegas Lustau and seasoned with the finest Oloroso sherry. Bottled at 45% ABV, it offers an exceptionally rich and layered character that reflects both Irish distilling tradition and Spanish sherry influence.

On the nose, expect a rich infusion of dark fruits — prunes, dates, and figs — alongside licorice, marzipan, toasted oak, and aromatic spices. The palate delivers toasted pecan, prune, and licorice on a rich and creamy foundation, while the finish brings delicate notes of candied orange, raisin, and dark chocolate.
