The GOTRAX GXL Hand Brake Edition is a foldable, lightweight electric scooter designed for entry-level riders and daily commuters. Powered by a 250-watt front-wheel hub motor, it reaches speeds of up to 15.5 mph using a kick-to-start mechanism that conserves battery life. The scooter features a 36V 5.2Ah (187.2Wh) UL 2272-certified lithium-ion battery providing a range of up to 12 miles per charge, with a 42V 1.5A charger included.

The GXL uses a combined hand brake system — part mechanical, part electronic — replacing the traditional foot brake for more intuitive stopping control. An 8.5-inch pneumatic, shock-absorbing front tire smooths out bumpy roads and city streets, while the durable aluminum alloy A6061 frame keeps the overall weight to approximately 26–27 lbs. The scooter supports riders up to 220 lbs and is recommended for ages 16 and up.
