Humboldt Craft Spirits Redwood Rye is a premium American rye whiskey distilled in Eureka, California — the first and only licensed distillery headquartered there. Founded in 2011, Humboldt Craft Spirits produces grain-to-glass spirits inspired by the natural beauty of Humboldt County, with Redwood Rye named for the towering redwoods of the region, home to the world's tallest tree.

Redwood Rye is distilled on the grain from a high-rye mash and aged over three years in charred new American oak barrels. The result is a classic rye whiskey at 94 proof (47% ABV) with a caramel sweetness, rich vanilla undertones, and a well-mannered spiciness. On the nose, it offers notes of caramel, vanilla, banana, and sweet taffy. The palate is silky and full-bodied, with a long finish of orange citrus, oak, and light herbal hints. This whiskey drinks beautifully neat or on the rocks.
