iichiko Shochu Silhouette Japan 750ml

iichiko Silhouette is Japan's #1 shochu brand and the traditional expression of iichiko Honkaku Shochu, made from 100% two-row barley fermented with koji and distilled once to preserve maximum flavor and character. Bottled at 25% ABV (alcohol by volume), Silhouette is lighter and eminently drinkable, pairing well with a wide range of cuisines.

iichiko is crafted by Sanwa Shurui in Oita Prefecture on Kyushu, Japan's southernmost island, using water naturally filtered through over 1,000 feet of volcanic rock. As a Honkaku Shochu — the highest grade — it uses only one ingredient, is distilled once, and contains no sweeteners or additives. Koji, the same fermentation culture used in miso and soy sauce, unlocks the spirit's characteristic umami richness while keeping the finish smooth and clean.

Silhouette is traditionally enjoyed with food and is versatile in serving style: straight, on the rocks, diluted with cold or hot water, as a chu-hi (shochu highball) with soda and fruit juice, or mixed with oolong or matcha tea. It also serves as a base for low-alcohol cocktails.
