Trefethen Family Vineyards Dragon's Tooth is an estate-grown red blend sourced from the Oak Knoll District at the cooler southern end of Napa Valley. The wine is crafted from a blend of Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon — approximately 49% Malbec, 37% Petit Verdot, and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon — carrying an ABV of 13.9%.

The wine opens with expressive aromas of cherry and blackberry accented with notes of fig, tobacco leaf, and sarsaparilla. Full-bodied and balanced, integrated flavors of ripe dark fruit lead to a lush and abundant finish with youthful tannins and lively acidity well-suited for aging.

Sustainably farmed and family-owned, the estate's distinctive gravelly, rocky soils deposited by the Napa River in the Oak Knoll District contribute to the wine's unique character. Dragon's Tooth pairs beautifully with smoked meats, caramelized vegetables, slow-cooked dishes, and grilled onions and peppers with spicy sausage. Contains sulfites. Sold in cases of 12 × 750mL.
