Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old is a heavily peated Islay single malt Scotch whisky and the flagship expression of the Port Charlotte range. Distilled, matured, and bottled exclusively on the Isle of Islay using 100% Scottish barley, it is heavily peated to 40 PPM (parts per million phenol) and bottled at a robust 50% ABV.

The whisky is aged for a full decade in a combination of first-fill American bourbon barrels, second-fill bourbon barrels, and French oak wine casks, which bring layers of complexity to the intensely smoky spirit. It is non-chill filtered with no artificial colouring added, reflecting Bruichladdich's commitment to transparency and natural production.

On the nose, sweet peat and maritime aromas of seaweed and rockpools dominate, followed by notes of toffee, vanilla fudge, and candied lemon. The palate delivers a sweet, creamy hit leading into lemon boiled sweets, black-pepper spice, and a thick layer of peaty smoke, with richer notes of stewed apples and a touch of vanilla toffee. The finish features menthol and sweet smoke that slowly fades to grilled apples and buttery pastry. Bruichladdich is a certified B-Corp distillery.
