Crous St. Martin Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a red wine from the renowned Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in the Southern Rhône Valley of France, one of the most celebrated wine regions in the world. This 750 ml bottle is produced by Crous St. Martin, a winery with a 4.1 rating on Vivino and a 93-point score from Wine Advocate (2016 vintage).
The wine is a classic Southern Rhône blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah (approximately 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah). It presents a clean ruby color with aromas of cherry, mulberry, and fine spices on the nose. On the palate, it is sensual and smooth with notes of kirsch, blackcurrant, thyme, licorice, and white pepper. Tannins are present but polished and silky. Alcohol content is 14.5%. Contains sulfites.
This wine pairs well with lamb, pork, and poultry. Vintages such as the 2022 are recommended for drinking from 2025–2032.
