The Tobin Sports Wavebreak is a two-person inflatable kayak designed for casual recreational paddling on calm, sheltered waters such as lakes, slow-moving rivers, and protected coastlines. Measuring 10 feet 10 inches long by 34 inches wide, its broad beam provides rock-solid stability on the water, making it ideal for first-time paddlers and families. The kayak supports a maximum weight capacity of 440 lbs and weighs approximately 37 lbs when deflated, making it easy to carry and transport.

Constructed from heavy-duty coated PVC with twin inflatable side tubes and an inflatable floor, the Wavebreak is resistant to punctures, tears, and UV damage from sun, oil, and seawater. Three independent air chambers add redundancy and structural rigidity. Two removable fins on the hull improve straight-line tracking. Adjustable seat backs with storage compartments offer basic comfort for paddlers of various sizes, and integrated paddle holders allow hands-free drifting. The kayak can also be paddled solo, freeing up the second seat for gear.

The package includes two 86-inch aluminum-shaft paddles with plastic blades, an Air Hammer hand pump, a removable fin, a repair kit, and a backpack carrying bag for compact storage and transport. Setup typically takes 15 to 20 minutes. Note that air pressure may decrease when launching into cold water due to air compression; topping off inflation after the kayak has equilibrated is recommended. The kayak is best suited for calm, sheltered conditions and is not recommended for open water or challenging whitewater.
