Val delle Rose Litorale Vermentino is a 100% Vermentino white wine from the Maremma Toscana DOC in Tuscany, Italy. Produced by the historic Cecchi family at their Val delle Rose estate, this organically farmed wine offers aromas of green apple, chamomile, and citrus with balanced acidity, good persistence, and a mineral, slightly salty finish. Additional tasting notes include sun-kissed guava, yellow pear, passionfruit, and honeyed apricot.

The grapes are grown in sandstone-rich soils with decomposing rock at 150 meters above sea level. Vinification begins with controlled cold maceration, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15°C for 15 days with four months on the lees. The wine ages a minimum of two months in bottle before release. ABV is 13%.

Val delle Rose was founded in 1996 when Famiglia Cecchi purchased the estate in Poggio la Mozza, at the heart of the Morellino di Scansano appellation. The estate has grown to 150 hectares and is today the largest winery in the appellation. The Litorale Vermentino has consistently scored around 90 points from James Suckling.
