Kirkland Signature Val di Mazara P.D.O. Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is sourced from the sunny island of Sicily in the south of Italy, grown in the municipalities of Palermo and Agrigento. This region features both coastal and inland growing conditions that contribute to the oil's distinctive character. Three traditional Sicilian olive varieties—Biancolilla, Nocellara, and Cerasuola—are carefully blended to create a fruity aroma with a distinct almond aftertaste.
This oil carries the Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.) certification for the Val di Mazara region, guaranteeing it originates from a single, protected area with a rich history in European olive cultivation. It is certified organic by ICEA (065H) and is a Product of Italy, packed in Contrada Boraxia, Sciacca, Sicily. The 1-liter bottle provides 66 servings and is perfect drizzled over salads, roasted vegetables, grilled fish, or used as a finishing oil.
