Crafted from an old recipe handed down by the Mitchell & Son family of wine merchants — with records dating back to the early 1900s — Red Spot represents a reimagining of a whiskey that was last seen over 50 years ago. The whiskey was reborn when Marsala fortified wine casks were procured from Sicily in the early 2000s, with the spirit beginning its lengthy maturation in 2004.

The nose offers pot still spices with rich cooked fruit, baked apple, mango, and black cherry, complemented by hazelnut and a touch of new leather fused with toasted American Oak.
