The Brother P-Touch PT-2040C is a home and office label maker designed to help you organize, personalize, and identify virtually anything. Its compact, lightweight design makes it easily portable for use at home, in the kitchen, office, workshop, garage, or school. The unit measures 6.5" x 8.6" x 2.7" and weighs just 1.3 lbs.

The PT-2040C features a full QWERTY keyboard and an easy-view LCD display that shows 15 characters at a time, allowing you to preview your text before printing. It supports printing up to two lines of text on TZe laminated tape, which features an easy-peel split backing that adheres to smooth, rough, flat, or rounded surfaces for reliable indoor and outdoor use. The labeler accommodates five different tape widths (3.5mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, and 18mm) using Brother's TZe tape family, including standard laminated, flexible ID, extra strength adhesive, iron-on fabric, acid-free, and tamper-evident tape types.

Customization options include 2 fonts (Helsinki and Venezia) in 4 sizes, 9 font styles, 20 label frames, and 90+ symbols and emojis. Built-in preset auto formats cover folders, files, media labels, and more. The device supports auto numbering, mirror printing, vertical printing, and can store up to 5 favorite labels for quick reprinting. A manual cutter and preview key round out the feature set.

The Costco bundle includes one Black on White laminated TZe tape (0.47"/12mm x 26.2'/8m), one Black on Clear laminated TZe tape (0.47"/12mm x 26.2'/8m), and 6 AA batteries.
