The wine is picked at peak flavor development from top sites across California and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with 20% of the blend aged for 60 days in bourbon barrels to impart rich, layered complexity.

The blend is composed of 41% Petite Sirah, 21% Syrah, 18% Petit Verdot, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, and 2% other varieties. On the nose, it delivers aromas of ripe blackberries, roasted hazelnuts, and caramel. The palate is full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and integrated acidity, finishing with notes of toasted coconut, violet, and black cherry. Alcohol content is 14.5%. The wine has earned 88 points from Wine Enthusiast and a Silver medal from the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
