Produced by Livio Sassetti, whose family has farmed some of Montalcino's finest vineyards for generations, this wine is made entirely from Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello) grapes grown in the northwest quadrant of the Brunello di Montalcino appellation, in the renowned Montosoli area known for producing exceptional expressions of this variety.

The wine showcases the elegant character of the Pertimali vineyard with aromas and flavors of red and dark fruits including Marasca cherry and crushed blackberries, complemented by dried flowers, violet, camphor, sage, cloves, and a subtle minerality. It is structured and energetic in style, with vibrant acidity, salty mineral notes, and a long, lingering finish.
