Sourced from unnamed Japanese distilleries, the whisky is aged in rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks, a wood prized for imparting distinctive notes of sandalwood, incense, and spice. The aging process concludes with a unique ocean voyage finishing of up to three months, departing from Osaka, Japan. The whisky is bottled un-chill filtered to preserve its full character.

On the nose, expect vanilla, caramel sweetness, toasted almond, pecan, and coconut. The palate delivers clover honey, vanilla caramel, orange peel, pecans, and fresh herbs, while the finish is warm and lingering. Whisky Advocate awarded it 92 points and ranked it among their Top 20 Whiskies, praising its accessible expression of rare Mizunara oak character.
