Villa Donoratico is a flagship red blend from Tenuta Argentiera, an acclaimed estate situated along the Tuscan coast in the Bolgheri DOC appellation. The estate, founded in 1999, traces its roots to the historic Donoratico property once owned by the Medici family. Vineyards descend toward the Tyrrhenian Sea, where cooling maritime breezes temper the Mediterranean sun and lend the wines their distinctive elegance.

The blend is composed of approximately 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Petit Verdot. On the nose, the wine offers ripe black cherries, blackberries, and blackcurrants alongside notes of mushrooms, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper. The palate is full-bodied with round, fine tannins and layered flavors of dark fruit, stewed plum, chocolate, sweet earth, and a finish of warmth, spice, and dusty chalk. It pairs well with grilled meats, roasted lamb, aged cheeses, and rich pasta dishes.
