Bela Ribera del Duero is a red wine produced by CVNE (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España), one of Spain's most historic wineries founded in 1879. The Bela estate is located in the village of Villalba de Duero within the prestigious Ribera del Duero appellation. This wine is composed primarily of Tempranillo with approximately 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, sourced from sandy and clay-rich soils on limestone mother rock. It is aged for nine months in French oak barrels and has an alcohol content of 14.2% ABV.

The wine presents a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe black fruits, raspberry, black cherry, and floral spice notes. On the palate, expect flavors of cherry, blackberry, plum, currant, and fig accented by leather, vanilla, thyme, lavender, and sweet oak. Fine, silky tannins lead to a long, fruity finish with a mineral underpinning that adds elegance and finesse. The 2021 vintage was ranked #79 on Wine Spectator's Top 100 list for 2023, receiving scores of 92 from Wine Advocate, 91 from Wine Spectator, and 90 from James Suckling.
