Gundlach Bundschu Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a serious, structured red wine from the historic Rhinefarm estate in Sonoma Valley, California. The winery, one of California's oldest continuously operating family wineries, crafts this Cabernet in a European style designed to age gracefully, with food-friendly tannins and impressive depth.

This Reserve Cabernet is a Bordeaux-style blend anchored by Cabernet Sauvignon and complemented by Petit Verdot, Malbec, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. The wine delivers intense dark fruit, layers of cocoa and cassis, and a well-integrated tannin structure. It undergoes a 5-day cold soak with optical sorting, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and 18 months of aging in 100% French oak barrels (45% new) from cooperages including Vicard, Taransaud, and Ermitage. Alcohol is approximately 14.8%.

This wine is built for cellaring and can age beautifully for ten years and beyond, making it an excellent value for both immediate enjoyment and long-term investment. Sold as a case of 6 bottles (750ml each).
