The KS 9.0 features AutoSense OS, an intelligent automatic operating system that detects and adapts to different listening environments in real time. The hearing aids offer universal Bluetooth connectivity via Sonova's SWORD (Sonova Wireless One Radio Digital) chipset, allowing direct audio streaming from iPhones, Android phones, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices without an intermediate streamer. Users can take hands-free phone calls and stream music, podcasts, or other audio directly to both ears. Up to 20 fine-tuning frequency channels and 9 automatic programs plus 3 manual programs give audiologists extensive customization options. Binaural beamforming helps improve speech clarity in noisy settings.

These aids use a size 312 disposable battery and are available in multiple receiver power levels to accommodate a range of hearing loss severities.
