Elena Fucci Titolo is a single-varietal Aglianico del Vulture DOC wine from Basilicata in southern Italy, produced by Azienda Agricola Elena Fucci at the foot of Mount Vulture, an extinct volcano whose ancient lava flows create mineral-rich volcanic soils. This is a focused, terroir-driven red wine โ the only varietal grown on Elena Fucci's six-hectare family estate, where some vines are over 70 years old.
The estate, established in 2000, is named after the Contrada Solagna del Titolo, the highest parcel of the vineyard. Elena Fucci's winemaking approach is described as "modern but not modernist," honoring Aglianico's full-bodied, aromatically intense character through thoughtful farming and careful cellar work. The vineyard is certified organic (Sidel Certified), sustainably farmed, and vegan-process.
On the palate, the wine delivers dark plum, black cherry, musky black currants, and cedar notes with the variety's signature tar and roses character. It shows bright, cooling acidity, fine-grained tannins, and a long, fresh finish driven by volcanic soil minerality. The wine is sold in a 12-bottle case format.
