Dewar's White Label is a classic blended Scotch whisky produced in Scotland and owned by Bacardi. Founded by John Dewar Sr. in Perth, Scotland in 1846, the brand has grown into the number one blended Scotch whisky in the United States and one of the best-selling Scotch whiskies in the world.
What sets Dewar's White Label apart is its proprietary "double aged" method: after blending up to 40 individual malt and grain whiskies, the final blend is placed back into oak barrels for an additional period of maturation before bottling. This secondary resting—sometimes called "marrying"—allows the component whiskies to integrate fully, producing a rounder, more balanced spirit than is typical of entry-level blended Scotch.
The whisky presents aromas of sweet honey, lemon citrus, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, those notes continue alongside brown sugar and light oak, with a gentle wisp of smoke on the lingering finish. Bottled at 40% ABV with no age statement, it is well suited to drinking neat, on the rocks, or as the base of classic cocktails such as the Scotch and soda or Rob Roy.
