The HO Sports Beacon is a single-seat inflatable kayak featuring a rigid dropstitch floor that provides a solid, board-like base unlike traditional inflatable kayaks. The kayak measures 13 feet long, 36 inches wide, and 12 inches high, weighing approximately 30 pounds with a carrying capacity of 450 pounds. It uses a combination construction with a high-pressure dropstitch floor and two low-pressure side tubes across three separate inflation chambers.

The complete kit includes an adjustable 4-piece aluminum paddle, ergonomic high-back seat with built-in fishing rod holders and a storage pouch, a removable leverlock skeg for improved tracking, a dual-action hand pump with pressure gauge, a backpack-style carrying bag, a nylon compression strap, and a repair kit. The open-top design provides a roomy cockpit with two bungee storage zones on the fore and aft decks, paddle holders on each side, carrying handles, and two drain plugs at the stern. The hull features a flat bottom with a keel ridge at the bow for directional stability.

When deflated, the kayak packs into the included carrying bag measuring approximately 30 x 22 x 12 inches, making it easy to store and transport. Setup time is approximately 20 minutes with practice. The removable skeg is 8 inches long and requires a minimum water depth of about 10 inches for use.
