Domaine de la Solitude Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge is a classic Southern Rhône red blend from one of the appellation's storied estates. The wine is crafted from a blend of primarily Grenache Noir (65%) with Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Counoise, with vines averaging 50 years of age across the estate's contiguous 100-acre property.

On the nose, the wine offers an inviting bouquet of garrigue, cistus flower, blackcurrant buds, raspberries, licorice, and orange zest with a touch of summer flowers. The palate is round, full-bodied, and silky, with aromas of cocoa and cherry, beautifully integrated tannins, and a long finish of liquorice. Winemaking involves 30-day maceration followed by 15 months of maturation primarily in concrete tanks, preserving the wine's vibrant fruit character.

The 2022 vintage received 94 points from James Suckling and 91 points from Wine Advocate, affirming its quality and consistency. Sold in a 750ML bottle.
