Gnarly Head 1924 Double Black is a Limited Edition Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from select vineyards in the Lodi region of Northern California. Lodi's well-draining sandy soils, warm summer afternoons, and cooling Pacific Ocean breezes create ideal conditions for growing concentrated, full-flavored Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

This full-bodied red wine is layered with aromas and flavors of blackberry, vanilla, and warm spice, accented by bourbon-inspired notes of caramel, butterscotch, and charred oak. On the palate it delivers jammy blackberry, wood smoke, and cocoa with a rich texture, mild tannins, and a smooth, concentrated finish. The wine is inspired by the bold reds made popular during the Prohibition era of 1924.
