The Windmill Palm (Trachycarpus fortunei), also known as the Euro Fan Palm or Chinese Windmill Palm, is a 30-gallon container-grown specimen ideal for landscape planting. It is one of the most cold-hardy palms available, tolerating temperatures as low as 5°F (-15°C), making it suitable for growing zones 7 through 11.

This slow-growing palm features distinctive fan-shaped, deeply segmented dark green fronds that radiate from a slender, fibrous trunk covered in coarse brown fiber. At maturity, the tree reaches 18 to 30 feet in height and 7 to 10 feet in width, providing an elegant tropical appearance in both warm and cooler climates.
