Infinito Winemaker's Selection Malbec is a 100% Malbec sourced from two premier vineyard sites in Mendoza, Argentina. The La Consulta vineyard sits at 3,600 feet of elevation and the Agrelo vineyard at 3,200 feet, providing ideal conditions for concentrated, aromatic fruit development.

The winemaking process begins with a cold maceration for four days at 44°F to extract aromas, followed by 15 days of fermentation using native yeasts and a post-fermentation maceration of 15 more days for added complexity and structure. The wine is then aged for 12 months in a combination of first, second, and third-use oak barrels, adding subtle layers of spice and vanilla without overwhelming the fruit. The wine is imported to the US by Tri-Vin Imports.

In the glass, Infinito Malbec shows a deep purple color with aromas of blackberry, plum, cedar, violets, and spice. On the palate, it delivers loads of juicy dark berry fruit with a silky smooth texture, secondary notes of licorice, black pepper, and a touch of graphite minerality. The finish is long and dry with light gripping tannins. Best enjoyed after a short decant to allow the wine to open up and show its best character. Alcohol: 14%.
