Domaine du Grapillon d'Or Gigondas Excellence is a red wine from the Gigondas appellation in the Southern Rhône Valley of France. Produced by the Chauvet family estate, founded in 1806, this cuvée represents the domaine's flagship offering from one of the Rhône's most celebrated village appellations, situated at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail mountain range.

The wine is a blend primarily of Grenache and Syrah, typically aged in oak for around 14 months. It delivers rich aromas of dark cherry, black fruit, garrigue, and spice, with a palate of ripe plum, blackberry, and earthy mineral notes backed by well-integrated tannins and a long, savory finish. The Excellence cuvée is selected from the domaine's oldest vines and represents the estate's finest expression of Gigondas terroir.

This wine pairs well with grilled lamb, roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses. It benefits from decanting and has good aging potential of 8–12 years from vintage.
