Scotts MAX Lawn Food is a Costco Exclusive premium lawn fertilizer designed to strengthen your lawn and thicken grass to crowd out weeds. It features a 32-0-4 (Nitrogen-Phosphorus-Potassium) fertilizer analysis with added essential nutrients not found in standard Scotts Turf Builder Lawn Food, including kelp meal, worm castings, iron, and manganese. Regular feeding builds strong, deep roots and improves the lawn's ability to absorb water and nutrients compared to an unfed lawn.

This granular fertilizer works on any grass type and can be applied to a wet or dry lawn. Each 35 lb bag covers up to 14,000 sq ft. For application, use a Scotts broadcast/rotary spreader at setting 3, a drop spreader at setting 6.5, or a Wizz spreader at setting 3.75. Apply 2 to 4 times annually during the spring, summer, or fall growing seasons, with a minimum of 6 weeks between applications. For fast results, lightly water in after applying.
